My name is Lisa and I am a registered social worker specializing in geriatrics. In my practice I focus on helping clients navigate the emotional and practical complexities of aging and caregiving.

Over the past 12 years, I have had the privilege of supporting  families caring for loved ones with dementia or other neurodegenerative disorders.

I support families by:

• Assisting with decision-making and planning for the future
• Providing education and helping connect families to appropriate resources
• Offering family counselling when values or goals are not aligned
• Addressing the complex emotions that arise while strengthening capacity for coping and emotional resilience

I also work directly with older adults, offering counselling around common issues related to aging, including grief, isolation, adjustment to health changes, and life transitions.
